Letramap’s typographic design has crossed the Atlantic to become part of one of the most vibrant cities in the United States. Our Chicago map, represented through its iconic initials CHI, is now featured in the brand-new RIU Plaza Chicago Hotel, a project we were honored to collaborate on thanks to Agus Díaz.
The artwork has been installed in more than 300 guest rooms, bringing a piece of Chicago’s urban character into every space. But this isn’t just any design: it was customized for the hotel, highlighting the exact block where the RIU Plaza is located and including its full Chicago address in the composition.
For this special project, the Seaside style was selected—one of the 12 styles available at Letramap. With its fresh and dynamic aesthetic, Seaside perfectly complements the energy of the city while enhancing the contemporary interior design of the hotel.
This milestone is not only an important step for Letramap, but also a clear example of how art and design can transform spaces into experiences, accompanying travelers from all over the world during their stay.
